Everything you need to buywith your eyes open.

Buying a business is a big decision. Our job is to make sure it's an informed one, and to tell you when to walk away.

Who we work with

Who buys asmall business?People like you.

You don't need an MBA or a family fortune. You need a clear head, some savings, and a willingness to learn a business from the person who built it.

  • First-time owners

Career changers, parents coming back to work, people who'd rather own a Tuesday than a title. Around two-thirds of the buyers we work with.

  • Growing operators

Owners adding a second location or a business that complements the one they have. You know the work. We help you find the right fit.

  • Employee buyouts

The manager who has run the place for years. We help owners and their teams structure a sale that works for both sides.

How buying works

Four steps fromlooking to owning.

From applying to keys, most buyers take three to six months. Financing is usually the slowest step, so we start on it early.

  1. Apply, in about three minutes

Industry, location, budget, and what you want your week to look like. A short form, then a quick call to make sure we've understood.

    Week 1

  2. See confidential listings

Sign one NDA and we send you the businesses that fit, with the real numbers, not a teaser.

    Weeks 1 to 4

  3. Meet the owner, check the books

Visit the business, meet the person who built it, and go through the financials with your accountant and us.

    Months 1 to 3

  4. Make an offer, take the keys

We help you structure the offer and financing, manage the paperwork, and plan a handover with the seller.

Financing

You don't needall the moneytoday.

Most small business purchases combine a down payment, a lender loan, and a seller note, where the owner is paid part of the price over time. We'll help you understand what's realistic before you fall in love with a listing.

Questions buyers ask first

Do buyers pay a fee?

No. Our success fee is paid by the seller at closing. You'll never receive an invoice from us, and applying costs nothing.

How do I know the numbers are real?

Every listing is backed by financial statements or tax returns we've reviewed before listing. During due diligence you and your accountant see the originals, not a summary.

Can I buy a business in an industry I've never worked in?

Often, yes. A proper handover and a team that stays make up for a lot. We'll tell you honestly where industry experience really matters and where it doesn't.

What does a confidential listing mean?

The business name and address stay hidden until you sign an NDA. That protects the seller's staff and customers, and it keeps the process to serious buyers.

How long does it take to buy?

From applying to keys, most buyers take three to six months. Financing is usually the slowest step, which is why we start on it early.
