Where is it?

Confidential. We never share your details, and we only call if you ask us to.

What you'll get

A number you canactually use.

Not a single inflated figure to get you in the door. A range, the reasons behind it, and a conversation about what to do with it.

  • A realistic range

Low, likely, and high, based on your financials and what similar businesses have actually sold for nearby.

  • What's driving it

The three to five things pushing your number up or down, and which ones you could change before you sell.

  • A call to walk through it

Thirty minutes with Chris or Dylan, if you want it. Ask anything. Decide nothing.

How it works

Three minutes now.Five days later, a number.

You don't need perfect records to start. Send what you have and we'll tell you what, if anything, is missing.

  1. Tell us about the business

The form above. What you do, how long you've done it, roughly what it earns, and where you are.

    About 3 minutes

  2. Send your financials

Two or three years of statements or tax returns by secure upload. Messy is fine. A shoebox is fine. We've seen worse.

    Secure upload, same day

  3. Get your range and a call

A written range with the reasons behind it, and an optional thirty-minute call to walk through it.

Before you start

What to have ready, and what notto worry about.

If you can't find something, send what you've got. Half of our valuations start with a photo of a folder.

Helpful to have

  • Two or three years of financial statements or tax returns
  • A rough picture of staff, hours, and payroll
  • Your lease, or the key terms if you own the building
  • Owner salary and any one-off or personal expenses in the books
  • Anything unusual: a big customer, a seasonal swing, a partner

Not needed

  • Audited or accountant-prepared statements
  • A business plan or a pitch deck
  • A decision about whether or when to sell
  • Telling your staff, your landlord, or anyone else
  • Perfect books. We'll tell you what's worth tidying before a sale.

Why is it free?Because it's how we start.

We're paid a success fee only when a business sells, so the valuation costs you nothing and commits you to nothing. Around half the owners who get one decide to wait. Some never sell. The number is theirs to keep either way.

“The valuation call was the first time anyone explained what my shop was actually worth, and why. I took a year to decide. They waited.”

  • $590K to $680K
  • $640,000
  • 14 months

Questions about the valuation

Is it really free, with no catch?

Yes. No fee, no obligation, and no pressure afterwards. We're paid a success fee only if you choose to sell with us, and that's a separate decision you can make months or years later, or never.

How accurate is it?

It's a realistic range, not a promise. It's based on your actual financials and what comparable businesses have sold for, and we'll tell you honestly where the uncertainty is. Final figures always depend on the buyer.

What if my records are a mess?

Send what you have. We'll work with your bookkeeper or accountant to rebuild the last two or three years, and we'll tell you which gaps actually matter to a buyer and which don't.

Will you share my information with anyone?

No. Your details and financials stay between you and us. Nothing goes to a buyer unless you decide to list, and even then only after they've signed an NDA.

Do I have to sell afterwards?

No. Around half the owners who get a valuation decide to wait, and some never sell. Many use the number to decide what to improve first. We don't follow up unless you ask us to.
